Meet Melinda, the All-New Wide Sleeve Romper from LuLaRoe | Fit, Feel, & Sizing Review

If you know me at all, one of my happy places is at a music festival, jamming and dancing until the sun rises. There's something so invigorating and FUN about live music... and the all-new LuLaRoe Melinda wide sleeve romper is absolutely coming on my next adventure!

Made of 100% no-stretch polyester, the LuLaRoe Melinda wide sleeve romper also features a generous cut, removable belt, and,of course, pockets! The LuLaRoe Melinda also features a secret hidden button near the top of the romper if you prefer to stay more covered than exposed. It's also a great opportunity to wear a cute romper underneath!

Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Melinda wide sleeve romper sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Melinda size chart, I should be a 2X.

After trying on an XL, 2X, and 3X in this style I can confidently say that the LuLaRoe Melinda wide sleeve romper fits true to the size chart.

While I could put on an XL LuLaRoe Melinda -- it was ROUGH going. The polyester has absolutely no stretch, so it makes it difficult to get on. It fit great, but I am not sure it's worth the hassle of getting into it.

Sizing up into a 3X LuLaRoe Melinda was far too roomy, and should easily fit my 24-26 ladies.

The 2X LuLaRoe Melinda (pictured) really is the perfect. fit.

Stick to the LuLaRoe Melinda wide sleeve romper size chart for best fit and, if you're willing to do some gymnastics, you might be able to size down, too.

Sometimes a piece is all about the details, and that's exactly the case with the all-new LuLaRoe Stephanie! Designed with lots of flirty and fun features in mind, the LuLaRoe Stephanie smocked sleeve top is sure to brighten up your wardrobe this spring and summer ☀️

The LuLaRoe Stephanie features an adorable section of smocking on both flutter sleeves, a straight-hemline cut, and is made of a soft and somewhat stretchy ribbed material. Smocking is all the rage this year, as we have seen smocking in the LuLaRoe Kaylin smocked cardigan and the LuLaRoe Roselyn flutter sleeve dress already released in 2022.

Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Stephanie smocked sleeve sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Stephanie size chart, I should be a 2X.

I tried on multiple sizes of the LuLaRoe Stephanie, and ultimately settled on the fit of my true to size 2X.

Sizing down into the XL Stephanie was far too fitted for my preference and, on the other hand, a 3X Stephanie was far too roomy.

I think pretty much everyone will prefer sticking to the LuLaRoe Stephanie smocked sleeve top size chart for their best fit in this style.

Life is Easy in the All-New LuLaRoe Breezy | Fit, Feel, & Sizing Review

One of my all-time favorite LuLaRoe pieces was the LuLaRoe Joy duster vest. I thought it was so unique, a true statement layering piece you could add to almost any outfit. I was so sad when she was discontinued...

Which is why I am extra-excited about the launch of the all-new LuLaRoe Breezy Overlay, Joy's hipper, newer little sister that just joined the LuLaRoe lineup. With a ton of fabulous details, you're sure to fall in the love with the LuLaRoe Breezy overlay as fast as I did!

The LuLaRoe Breezy overlay is part of the LuLaRoe Resort collection which introduced us to the LuLaRoe Endless maxi dress and the LuLaRoe Coastal coverup. The LuLaRoe Breezy is made of 100% polyester which means it does not stretch. It also features an adorable front tie, a flowy and fabulous train, as well as POCKETS for all your beach-time adventures.

Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Breezy sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Breezy size chart, I should be an XL.

After trying on both the Large and XL in the LuLaRoe Breezy--the exact same sizes I wore in the LuLaRoe Joy--I found that the LuLaRoe Breezy size chart is fairly accurate.

Although I can physically put on and wear a Large in the LuLaRoe Breezy overlay, the fit of the XL Breezy (pictured) is more comfortable for me across the back and chest.

Ultimately, I think most ladies are going to want to stick to the size chart for this style. I am not sure I'd want to size up into another size if there was one, so I do truly think true to size is the best recommendation for all.
