Keeping It Real in the All-New LuLaRoe Kennedy Raw Edge Cardigan | Fit, Feel, & Sizing

As someone whose last name is Kennedy, I'm going to pretend this style was named after me :)

Just in time for the changing of the seasons, the all-new Kennedy raw edge mixed media cardigan has just made its way to the LuLaRoe lineup... and I am so excited to share it with you!

The LuLaRoe Kennedy cardigan features alternating panels of super-soft brushed French Terry material, a super-cute cuff at the arms, batwing sleeves, and a nice long hem to keep all of your assets covered. No perfect cardigan would be complete without pockets, and the LuLaRoe Kennedy cardigan has two nice, deep ones.

Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Kennedy cardigan sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Kennedy size chart, I should wear an XL.

LuLaRoe layering pieces usually come in four sizes: small, medium, large, and XL. The LuLaRoe Kennedy uses this type of sizing as well.

Pictured here you can see me wearing a large LuLaRoe Kennedy and I think that it fits great. According to the LuLaRoe Kennedy size chart, however, that is technically one size down.

I also tried on my true to size (XL) in my sizing video posted below and do like that fit as well.

Ultimately, I think this is intended to be an oversized sweater, so if you go with your size chart size it will fit as such. But if you would like the LuLaRoe Kennedy cardigan to fit you more fitted, then I suggest sizing down one. I could not size down two in this style.

Look Out! It's the All-New Layla Mandarin Split-Collar Top from LuLaRoe | Fit, Feel, & Sizing Review

The perfect piece as we transition from summer to fall, the all-new LuLaRoe Layla Mandarin split-collar top doesn't miss a beat when it comes to it's amazing details and glorious fit.

Although the Layla has been out in the field for a bit, this is the first time that the LuLaRoe Layla Mandarin split-collar top has made its way to my shop. Consisting of mostly modal material, the LuLaRoe Layla also features an adorable split-collar detail that reveals the perfect amount of skin.

Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Layla Mandarin split-collar top sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Layla size chart, I should be a 2X.

I personally find this top to fit similarly to the LuLaRoe Olive tulip sleeve top.

I can certainly wear the 2X LuLaRoe Layla split-collar top, however my preference truly leis in one size up. Sizing up to the 3X Layla gave me the room I wanted in the body of the top without sacrificing fit for slouchiness.

Ultimately I think the LuLaRoe Layla size chart is accurate if you like tops fitted, otherwise ladies may want to try one size up. The saving grace in this top is the modal fabric which is super soft and stretchy -- truly one of the best LuLaRoe materials.

La Vie Boheme--The All-New LuLaRoe Boho Jude Shorts and Paisley Top | Fit, Feel, & Sizing Review

"To being an us for once.. instead of a them! La vie Boheme!"

The most recently released LuLaRoe collection, the LuLaRoe Boho Collection, absolutely sings to my soul! This collection is totally my vibe and I am so excited and happy to bring it into the shop.

In this post I'll be discussing two styles: the all-new LuLaRoe Paisley embroidered top and the LuLaRoe Jude ruffle hem shorts.

LuLaRoe Paisley Embroidered Top Size Chart

The LuLaRoe Paisley embroidered top is made of 100% cotton and features stunning embroidery across the top of each piece.

The LuLaRoe Jude ruffle hem shorts are a polyester/spandex blend and not only feature an adorable ruffle along the hem, but nice deep pockets for everything you carry on the go.

Now let's take some time to talk about LuLaRoe Boho collection sizing, especially for plus-size fit. I am a 20/22/24 in regular department store clothing, and typically purchase size 2 or 3 in Torrid styles and a XL/2X/3X in LuLaRoe styles, both dependent on cut and fit. I am also 5'9" if that helps! And a 42-44 DD across the chest. So, according to the LuLaRoe Paisley size chart and the LuLaRoe Jude size chart, I should be a 2X in both pieces.

I find the size charts for the LuLaRoe Boho Collection to be fairly accurate!

After trying on an XL, 2X, and 3X in the LuLaRoe Paisley embroidered top, I definitely found that my true to size offered the best fit. Some ladies may like a size down if they are not blessed in the chest, but it was simply too tight across the girls when I sized down.

And while I can easily go between the XL & 2X in the LuLaRoe Jude ruffle hem shorts, I will prefer the 2X so it's not quite as tight across my stomach.

Ultimately I think that most ladies will prefer their true-to-size-chart fit, but some ladies may want to size down if they don't have big butts or boobs.
